Facilities, Planning, and Construction supports the Blinn College District in the areas of facilities maintenance, campus planning, capital projects, and repairs and renovations.
The department provides facilities that promote learning, and provide safe and accessible facilities for the students, faculty, staff, and the communities served by the Blinn College District. Find our current projects below.
Waller Campus academic building
Scheduled for completion in time for the fall 2027 semester, the Waller Campus academic building will mark Blinn College's first building at the new Waller Campus.
The academic building is planned as an approximately 82,000-square-foot, three-story structure that will include classrooms, laboratories, student support areas, and administrative spaces that will form the foundation for future campus development.
Brenham Campus Sports Complex
The Blinn College District is constructing a $43.5 million sports complex on its Brenham Campus, with completion anticipated in August 2028. The new facility will enhance the student experience, support Buccaneer Athletics, and create additional opportunities for recreational activities and community events.
The complex will feature artificial-turf competition fields for men's and women's soccer and softball, a football practice field surrounded by an eight-lane track, and a 28,500-square-foot fieldhouse. The fieldhouse will include team locker rooms, coaches' offices, athletic training facilities, meeting spaces, concessions, and indoor golf simulators.
Designed to serve student-athletes, the campus community, and visiting teams, the new sports complex represents a significant investment in Blinn's athletic programs, campus facilities, and student success.
