The Blinn College District Police Department is responsible for the safety and well-being of all students, faculty, and staff members at Blinn.
Department personnel are sensitive to the special nature of a college campus and especially to students, who generally are young and on their own for the first time. This calls for a safe and orderly environment so all members of the community may fulfill their individual missions.
Blinn Police Department is a State of Texas-certified police agency that employs 34 commissioned officers and additional support staff.
The Department's authority extends to the four counties in which Blinn campuses reside - Brazos, Austin, Fayette, and Washington counties. The Blinn Police Department investigates all crimes on campus property and cooperates with all local and federal law enforcement agencies.
In cooperation with local law enforcement agencies, monitors criminal offenses committed off campus by Blinn employees and students. The Department reports such incidents to appropriate College officials.

Campus Safety
The Police Department, in cooperation with local law enforcement agencies, monitors criminal offenses committed off campus by Blinn employees and students. The Department reports such incidents to appropriate College officials.

- Response to a network of fire, smoke, and intrusion alarms.
