2025-2026 Series

The Blinn College District’s 2024-25 Performing Arts Series will bring four toe-tapping musical performances to the Dr. W.W. O’Donnell Center in the newly announced season.

The upcoming season will feature iLuminate, Asleep at the Wheel, a Neil Diamond celebration, and The Divas of Soul

The Divas of Soul

March 22, 2026 - 4 p.m.

"Divas of Soul" is a musical celebration of classic songs originally performed by Bessie Smith, Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross, Etta James, Whitney Houston and more!

Alfreda Gerlad has both a classical and R&B background and has toured and/or recorded with such artists as Elton John, Warren Haynes, The Gap Band, Yanni, Michelle Malone, Third Day, Celine Dion, The Black Crowes, Gladys Knight, Shawn Mullins, and Taliesin Orchestra.

I am...He Said

Jaunary 22, 2026 - 7 p.m.

"Matt Vee and The Killer Vees: 'I Am, He Said' A Celebration of Neil Diamond" is a live performance show featuring Matt Vee (nephew of Bobby Vee), his cousins Jeff and Tommy Vee, and other family and friends. They perform the classic hits of Neil Diamond, like "Cracklin' Rosie" and "Sweet Caroline," in a celebration of his musical legacy rather than a tribute show.

Asleep at the Wheel

November 20, 2025 - 7 p.m.

About Founded in 1970, Asleep at the Wheel has been part of the American roots music landscape for more than 50 years. Although the band got its start on a farm in Paw Paw, West Virginia, Asleep at the Wheel became a cornerstone of the Austin, Texas scene upon its arrival in 1973. Inspired by Western swing and honky-tonk country, the band has accrued 10 Grammy Awards. In the fall, a career retrospective recorded with the current lineup -- and a few special guests -- will carry the band back onto the road, where they’ve remained a staple for five decades.

iLuminate

iLuminate has been a household name since we were called “The BEST NEW ACT in America!” during our run on America’s Got Talent in 2011. Maybe you saw us on TV or heard about us through one of our international appearances or saw our Live show in the heart of New York City. No matter how you found us, we’re just glad you did!
