Blinn College Small Business Development Center holding basic QuickBooks course on May 19
Class will show how to get the most out of desktop accounting software

The Blinn College Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will host a basic QuickBooks course on Friday, May 19.
The course will teach small business owners to get the most out of the popular desktop accounting software. It will be held from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. (with an hour off for lunch) at the A.W. Hodde, Jr. Technical Education Center located at 2910 S. Blue Bell Road in Brenham.
Registration is $100 per person and is available at www.blinn.edu/sbdc. Pre-registration and pre-payment are required.
The course will provide hands-on experience for QuickBooks desktop version users. Topics include setting up records, invoices, deposits, and checks, accounts payable and receivable, bank and credit card account reconciliation, and running reports. The Blinn SBDC provides each attendee with reference materials and a desktop computer to use during the course. The course does not cover the online version of QuickBooks.
