Blinn offers QuickBooks Online workshop to empower individuals in efficient accounting practices

The Blinn College District Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is pleased to announce an upcoming workshop aimed at providing individuals with the necessary skills to utilize QuickBooks Online effectively.
The workshop will take place Friday, Oct. 6, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the A.W. Hodde, Jr., Technical Education Center located at 2910 S. Blue Bell Rd. in Brenham.
QuickBooks Online is a cutting-edge cloud accounting system that enables users to access QuickBooks securely through a web browser. Garnering the largest subscriber base among online accounting platforms, QuickBooks Online offers an array of features that differ from its desktop counterpart.
Participants of the workshop will delve into various aspects of QuickBooks Online, including getting started, tracking sales and expenses, backing up data, utilizing time-saving features, and maintaining business organization. The event assumes prior familiarity with personal computers, as well as keyboard and mouse usage.
The workshop will be led by Julie Gilmer, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor. With her extensive expertise in the field, Gilmer is well-equipped to guide attendees through the ins and outs of QuickBooks Online, imparting invaluable knowledge and tips for efficient financial management.
Registration is $100 per person and available at www.blinn.edu/sbdc. Participants are encouraged to secure their spots in advance, as availability is limited.
