Beginning in fall 2026, the Blinn College District will offer two Associate of Applied Science degree pathways designed to place you at the forefront of one of today’s fastest-growing fields.
Blinn’s AAS in Artificial Intelligence focuses on the technical side of AI, including cloud computing, machine learning, data science, networking, and infrastructure. The technical AI program partners with industry leaders such as Google, Microsoft, and Amazon to offer curriculum aligned with industry standards and opportunities to earn professional certifications, giving graduates a competitive edge in the job market.
The AAS in Artificial Intelligence in Business blends AI coursework with business fundamentals to prepare students to apply AI tools to decision-making, operations, and digital innovation. Graduates of the AI in Business program gain experience applying AI, data analytics, and automation tools to improve business operations and strategy.
Degree and Certificate Plans
The AAS in Artificial Intelligence and the AAS in Artificial Intelligence in Business both require 60 credit hours and offer certificate and Occupational Skills Award options for students seeking shorter pathways into the workforce.

The Artificial Intelligence AAS, Level-2 Certificate, and Occupational Skills Award and the Artificial Intelligence in Business AAS, Level-2 Certificate, and Occupational Skills Award are offered online and on the Brenham and RELLIS campuses.
Graduates of the Artificial Intelligence program may pursue careers in areas such as cloud architecture, AI development, machine learning, and infrastructure support, while graduates of the Artificial Intelligence in Business program are prepared for a wide range of business and management roles that incorporate AI tools.
