Message from the Executive Director
The Blinn College Foundation serves as a separate, charitable organization in support of the Blinn College District. Our mission is solely to provide financial support for programs and activities that enhance the quality of education for Blinn College students, and expand educational opportunities for communities throughout the Blinn College District. The Blinn College Foundation supports the College by generating private and corporate gifts for scholarships, academic programs, student activities, campus buildings, and special events. For many students, the Blinn College Foundation makes education a reality and ensures that an affordable, quality education is within reach. Your gift is an investment in the future by providing cutting-edge tools, technology, and training to faculty and staff, ensuring that the next generation of leaders receives the education and skills necessary to succeed. The Blinn College Foundation is a tax-exempt organization as described in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to the Foundation are deductible under section 170(b)(1)(A)(iv) of the Internal Revenue Code, which qualifies for tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts.
The Blinn College Foundation acts in a fiduciary capacity in administering gifts in strict compliance with the instructions of the donor. If a gift is not accompanied by instructions, its use is determined by the Blinn College Foundation Board of Directors and directed to the program(s) with the most pressing needs.
Our Mission
The Blinn College Foundation, Inc. is organized for the sole purpose of providing support for programs and activities which enhance the quality of education for Blinn College students and expand the educational opportunities for the entire community.
While raising funds is an important function, the Blinn College Foundation also seeks to heighten community awareness of the mission and accomplishments of the College and to promote excellence in education.
