Veterinary Technology Required Immunizations
Tetanus Vaccine:
- Tetanus booster within 10 years
Hepatitis B Vaccine:
- Proof of completed vaccination series (3 doses over 4-6 months) or adequate protection documented by serologic test
Rabies Vaccine:
- Proof of completed vaccination series (2 doses) or adequate protection documented by serologic test
- Note: Admitted students may receive the rabies immunizations on campus during their first semester as an optional fee.
Meningococcal (Meningitis) Vaccine:
- Required for all students under 22 years of age
- Highly recommended for all others
- Proof of prior vaccination no more than 5 years old from date of enrollment
