Application Dates

  • Fall 2025: Admission for the Traditional and Blended/Online programs
  • Application opens: March 3, 2025
  • Application closes: April 17, 2025, at noon
  • Decision letters: Emailed by May 5, 2025
  • Spring 2026: Admission for the Traditional Program
  • Application opens: September 17, 2025
  • Application closes: November 5, 2025 at noon
  • Decision letters: Emailed by November 12, 2025

Read Requirements

  • Attend a mandatory information session between October and April to receive the application link.
  • When you apply, submit ATI TEAS (Test of Essential Academic Skills) scores that are no older than one year.
  • Achieve a TSIA (Texas Success Initiative Assessment) status of College Ready (must pass by April 17, 2025).

Steps to Apply:

Step 1: Participate in an Information Session

  • Mandatory attendance.
  • Sessions are held via Zoom. Make a reservation to attend.

Step 2: Take the ATI TEAS (Test of Essential Academic Skills)

  • Take the computer version of the TEAS after attending an information session.
  • The test covers math, reading, English, and science.
  • Testing options:
    • Any testing center that administers the computerized ATI TEAS
    • Bryan Campus Testing Center
  • Minimum scores required:
    • Science: 33.3%
    • Other sections: 50%

Step 3: Complete the Allied Health Program Student Application

  • Fill out the Allied Health Program Student Application by the deadline (you will receive the application link after verifying your attendance at an information session).
  • After acceptance, ensure you have a college-ready classification in the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) by August.

Step 4: Complete Immunizations

  • Ensure all required immunizations are completed.

Step 5: Apply for Financial Aid, If Needed

The Blinn College District Vocational Nursing Program is non-discriminatory in regards to race, religion, color, sex, age, disability, and national origin or any other constitutionally or statutorily impermissible reason. Blinn would like to help students with disabilities achieve their highest potential in college. In order to receive accommodations on examinations or assignments, proper documentation must first be provided to the Office of Disability Services. You must then self-identify and conference with the ADA Office to begin receiving accommodations in class. This documentation from the ADA Office must be provided each semester to each instructor. To meet program objectives and perform job duties required in the nursing profession, the student nurse must demonstrate basic competencies.
