Admissions Steps for Dual Credit Students

Four simple steps walk you through the process—from applying for admission to starting your classes at Blinn.

Congratulations on beginning your college journey!

We are excited to help you begin your path to becoming a college graduate! Step 1 consists of two parts:

1A: Apply through ApplyTexas

1B: Set up myBLINN

1A: Apply to the Blinn College District

Like many colleges and universities across the State of Texas, Blinn uses the ApplyTexas application. To apply, visit www.applytexas.org and select Blinn College. All students should choose the Undergraduate (2-year) application option when completing their application.

Acceptance emails will be sent once your application has been received and processed by the Admissions Office (1 to 2 business days turnaround).

NOTE: If you are a homeschooled student or an early admission student, please first email the Dual Credit office at dualcredit@blinn.edu to receive your steps of enrollment list.

1B: Set up myBLINN

myBLINN is your student portal, where you can pay, track your degree progress, and much more. After your application is processed by Blinn College, you will receive a separate email to activate your myBLINN account. If you do not receive the email within 24 hours or experience difficulty, please call 979-830-4357.
