Admissions Process for Dual Credit/Early Admission Students
High school students may attend the Blinn College District beginning the summer following their eighth-grade year.
Once students are registered in a college course, they are under the rules of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
Follow these steps to ensure easier acceptance into Blinn.
If you are a homeschooled student, please first email the Dual Credit office at dualcredit@blinn.edu to receive the home school steps of enrollment list.
Like many colleges and universities across the State of Texas, Blinn uses the ApplyTexas application. To apply, visit www.applytexas.org and select Blinn College. It is recommended that you do not use your high school email address to apply through ApplyTexas.
Acceptance emails will be sent once your application has been received and processed by the Admissions Office (1 to 2 business days turnaround).
Bacterial Meningitis Requirement (if taking classes on a Blinn Campus)
All students under the age of 22 taking classes at an institution of higher learning must submit proof that they have been vaccinated against bacterial meningitis.
