Brenham Campus Recreation/Kruse Center
The Kruse Center, a 36,000-square-foot student recreation and activities center on the Brenham Campus, is a great place to work out with your friends! Located at 208 Blinn Boulevard, the Kruse Center includes space for general fitness, dance and yoga, kinesiology classes, student organization meetings, weightlifting and fitness space, and multi-purpose rooms for community events and meetings.
The Kruse Center's hours of operation are:
Fall and Spring Hours of Operation
- Monday - Friday 6 a.m. - 10 p.m.
- Saturday 8 a.m. - 10 p.m.
- Sunday 12 noon - 10 p.m.
Summer Hours of Operation
- Monday - Friday 6 a.m. - 7 p.m.
- Saturday 12 noon - 7 p.m.
- Sunday 4 p.m. - 7 p.m.
No appointment needed
The Kruse Center Usage Waiver must be completed before entering the facility for the first time each semester.
- All patrons must have a current Blinn College District student or membership ID to enter the facility.
- All patrons must use the south entrance (facing the baseball field). No other doors will remain unlocked for non-emergency reasons.
- The Kruse Center will be closed during all college holidays/closures.
- The gymnasium and track will be closed to patrons during scheduled athletic events.
- All patrons must have a towel to enter the weight and fitness areas.
- Patrons are required to wipe down all equipment, benches, and cardiovascular machines after use with the provided disinfecting wipes located in the weight room.
- Basketball and Volleyball Courts
- Weight Equipment: free weights, in-select machines, power racks
- Cardio Equipment: treadmills, ellipticals, exercise bikes, free run machines, rowing machines, stair steppers
- Men's and Women’s Locker Rooms
- Indoor Track
- Conference Room
- Multi-Purpose Room
Memberships are on a semester-by-semester basis and are not prorated. Memberships also can be purchased online by clicking on the Purchase Online button below.

- Fall Membership (September - December) $75
- Spring Membership (January - May) $75
- Summer Membership (June - August) $60
Community Memberships:
- Fall Membership (September - December) $125
- Spring Membership (January - May) $125
- Summer Membership (June - August) $90
The Kruse Center is closed during all College holidays.
The court/gymnasium, locker rooms, and track are not accessible to patrons during any athletic events/games, while the weight room remains open during athletic events/games.
