Testing Center Rules and Conditions
- Test takers must comply with all Testing Center rules and conditions. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of scores. Test fees are nonrefundable.
- Proper identification is required to take an assessment. Acceptable forms of identification include a valid government-issued ID, current school ID, current passport, current military ID, or Matricula Consular. Identification must include the test taker’s first and last name, photograph, and signature. The name on the ID must match the name on the test.
- Bring the following:
- Current photo ID
- Blinn ID number
- Test payment receipt
- Proof of completed TSI Pre-Assessment Activity (PAA), if taking the TSI test
- Do not bring: Food or drinks, cell phones, calculators, electronic devices, hats or caps, backpacks, large bags, or purses. Any prohibited items brought to the Testing Center will be checked and stored in a locker.
- Children are not permitted in the testing room. Test takers with children must make arrangements for their care prior to testing.
- Test takers should check allotted testing start times for each assessment and campus. Allow approximately 15 minutes for check-in and instructions. Test takers should know the length of their assessment and allow enough time to complete the test before the Testing Center closes.
- Test administrators are responsible for maintaining a secure testing environment. Test takers authorize administrators to act as their agents in maintaining test security and agree to follow all reasonable oral and written instructions. Failure to comply may result in dismissal and cancellation of scores.
- Communication with other test takers or individuals other than test administrators is prohibited during testing. Disruptive behavior or behavior that adversely affects performance may result in dismissal and cancellation of scores.
- All test questions and materials are the property of the testing company and/or its contractors and must remain confidential. Test materials are not available to test takers outside of the test administration.
- Test takers may not remove any assessment materials, including notes, from the testing room. Duplication or disclosure of test materials is prohibited. By purchasing a test ticket, test takers agree not to disclose, duplicate, or reproduce assessment content. Violations may result in financial liability and legal action.
