Texas Workforce Commission Corporate Training
Training a quality workforce is essential to the success of any business. Blinn’s Corporate Training Program provides customized training for your company to meet your specific needs to effectively train your workforce and maximize your efficiency.
Money is available through the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) for small and large businesses to receive free training for full-time employees related to their positions.
- Grant application developed by Blinn with assistance from the company.
- Fully customizable training: a combination of your subject matter experts, our subject matter experts, and outside vendors will provide courses built to your needs and schedule. Courses that Blinn College District has previously offered through the program can be found here.
- Specialized, highly technical training and basic workforce training, including Blueprint Reading, Excel, Word, Welding, OSHA – 10/30-hour, PEC Core, Forklift and Powered Industrial Trucks, CPR/First Aid/AED, and more!
- Pays up to $1,800 for each new employee and $900 for each existing employee per 12-month period
- Paid directly from TWC – no reimbursements needed
- Courses from our schedule, including Blueprint Reading, Excel, Word, Welding, OSHA – 10/30 hour, PEC Core, Forklift Certification, CPR/First AID/AED, and more!
