Finalize Co-Enrollment

Before Attending Your Texas A&M New Student Conference (NSC)

  1. Confirm Your Admission to Texas A&M

    • Register for your Texas A&M NSC to officially confirm your offer of admission.

  2. Watch for Your Blinn College ID

    • Within a week of confirming your Texas A&M admission, you will receive your Blinn ID by email.

    • Add @blinn.edu to your safe senders list and check your spam folder regularly so you do not miss important messages.

  3. Activate Your myBLINN Portal

    • Look for an email from OneIM with instructions to set up your myBLINN account.

  4. Complete the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) Requirement

    • Unless you qualify for an exemption, you must complete the TSI Assessment before registering for classes.

    • The ACT and SAT are not required for admission to Blinn.

    • View the complete list of TSI exemptions and placement scores.

    • If not exempt, you can take the TSI Assessment at Blinn’s Brenham, Bryan, Schulenburg, RELLIS, or Sealy campuses. Learn more about TSI testing at Blinn.

  5. College Prep Course Waivers

    • If you completed a College Prep Course through Blinn College, submit your HB5/Texas College Bridge Waiver by using the HB5 College Prep Course and Texas College Bridge Waiver Form. If you have questions concerning your College Prep Course waiver, please email hb5help@blinn.edu.

  6. Other Possible Exemptions

    • You may be exempt based on placement exams, military service, prior coursework, or a degree you have already earned.

    • Visit our TSI Assessment webpage for a full list of exemptions.

  7. Submit Required Documents

    • Current college transcript (if applicable)

    • Proof of bacterial meningitis vaccination

  8. Check Math Placement Requirements (for STEM majors)

    • If you plan to major in science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) and will need calculus, check your Math Placement Exam (MPE) score requirements.

    • Take Texas A&M’s MPE for calculus at least one week before your NSC so you can register for the correct math course.

    • If you are not pursuing a STEM major, no MPE score is required for Blinn.

  9. Access Your Blinn Email

    • Log in with your Blinn username and password to stay up to date on all enrollment communications.

Note: This checklist covers Blinn requirements only. Be sure to also review the Texas A&M Applicant Information System (AIS) and your “Now That You Are Admitted” booklet for Texas A&M’s requirements.

Before Classes Begin

  • Pay Your Tuition and Fees

    • Payment must be made by the deadlines listed on Blinn’s academic calendar. Learn more about the co-enrollment payment process.
