Occupational Skills Award in Plumbing
Blinn’s Plumbing Program provides a variety of educational pathways to prepare graduates for careers in a multitude of positions. Introduction to construction materials and methods and their applications, basic job site construction safety in residential, commercial, and industrial construction, mathematical operations necessary to calculate laying lengths of pipe fittings for fabrication. Identification and use of hand tools and power tools. Identification of pipe, pipe fittings, flanges, and fasteners used in the trade.
